This Privacy Policy explains what information Venue Booking ("we", "us") collects through Venue Booking, this accounting and event-booking platform (the "Service"), and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email, company name, and address, provided at registration.
• Business data you enter: chart of accounts, vouchers, ledger entries, venue and booking details, client names and contact numbers, payment records, and uploaded files (e.g. logos, payment proofs).
• Usage data: activity logs (who did what and when) within your own company account, used for your own audit trail.

2. How we use it

We use this information to operate the Service (store and display your bookkeeping and booking data), verify your account by email, process subscription payments you submit for review, and communicate with you about your account (verification, billing status, support).

3. Data isolation

Each company's data is stored in its own separate database, isolated from other companies using the Service. Staff you invite to your account can see the data your account grants them access to, based on the roles and permissions you assign.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your business data with third parties except: (a) service providers we use to operate the platform (e.g. email delivery, hosting/database infrastructure), and (b) when required by law.

5. Data retention & deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can export a full backup at any time. If you close your account, contact us at info@venuebooking.com to request deletion of your company's data.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including password hashing and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

7. Your rights

You can review, correct, or export your data directly within the Service at any time, or contact us for assistance.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; changes take effect when posted here.

9. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Pakistan, the same jurisdiction as our Terms of Service.
